About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Support young people with disabilities in their daily lives, promoting independence and self-empowerment.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, built on trust and mutual respect.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality support services.
* Manage challenging situations effectively, utilizing communication skills, empathy, and creativity.
* Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Work flexible shifts, including sleepovers, to meet the needs of clients and services.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Disability Support or Youth Work, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in disability support or residential care, with a focus on delivering person-centered services.
* A compassionate and patient approach, with a strong emphasis on building trust and rapport with clients.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in complex situations.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and sleepovers.
