About the Role
As a Pharmacist – Training & Delivery you will be responsible for delivering PSA education and training events such as workshops & webinars, both in person and online, supporting pharmacy workforce development and scope of practice. The role will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to coordinate and deliver training, building nurturing relationships with subject matter experts, key opinion leaders and medical professionals to ensure training products and services reflect best practice, translate scientific evidence into clinical practice and is relevant to the professional development needs of the pharmacy profession.
In the role, you will
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts and sponsors to develop learning objectives and plan activity schedule.
* Facilitate meetings and pre-event preparations to ensure successful training delivery.
* Provide support and guidance to subject matter experts in the development and delivery of training programs, such as presentation slides and training materials, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and best practices.
* Organise and facilitate workshops and deliver presentations, both in person and online.
* Coordinate logistical aspects before, during and after training events, including collaboration with various stakeholders and arranging necessary resources, to achieve agreed deliverables.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote training events effectively ensuring maximum attendance and engagement from the target audience.
* Evaluate training event effectiveness through participant feedback and other assessment methods, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of training event processes and outcomes, including budgeting, attendance records and post-event evaluations.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices relevant to the pharmacy profession, incorporating new ideas and approaches into future training initiatives.
About You
* Pharmacist registered with AHPRA with current experience in pharmacy practice.
* Experience in the delivery of adult training and assessment in the healthcare sector and, proven training, coaching and facilitation skills including an engaging training delivery style, knowledge of contemporary learning practices and adaptability to accommodate diverse learner needs effectively.
* Demonstrated current knowledge and skills relevant to the pharmacy industry, including a deep understanding of the issues, needs and evolving trends of the pharmacy industry locally and nationally to support workforce development.
* Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong event and project management skills to achieve desired outcomes within specified timelines.
* Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable
* Qualified pharmacist immuniser with current experience delivering vaccinations
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor) or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
* Experience in pharmacist expanded scope in Australia.
* Experience using Learning Management Systems, Student Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management Systems.
* Sound digital skills including the use of digital event technologies such as webinar or videoconference platforms, with a strong desire to utilise new technologies
