Job Summary:
Seeking a graduate with a strong understanding of Australian taxation law and a degree in Law and/or Commerce/Business/Economics to provide advice on taxation matters, including income tax, goods and services tax, and capital gains tax.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Interpreting complex legislation and developing clear solutions for clients
* Preparing ruling requests, objections, and meeting packs for ATO engagement
* Assembling evidence and drafting submissions/briefs for controversy matters
* Designing step plans for restructures, succession, and funding transactions
* Collaborating nationally with specialist partners on diverse and complex matters
