FARM MANAGER – SHEEP & GRAZING
KANGAROO ISLAND, SOUTH AUSTRALIA An established, professionally managed agricultural business is seeking a capable Farm Manager to take ownership of a large-scale sheep operation on Kangaroo Island.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys running stock, leading a small team, and driving performance across a well-resourced property that is a part of a significant national agricultural business.
THE ROLE
* Full responsibility for day-to-day livestock operations
* Manage sheep production, health, breeding and grazing programs
* Lead staff and coordinate contractors
* Plan and execute seasonal operations
* Maintain farm infrastructure, fencing and water systems
* Monitor performance and contribute to business outcomes
YOU WILL BRING
* Strong practical experience in sheep operations
* Confident stock handling and working dog ability
* Proven ability to run a property or take ownership of a section
* Solid understanding of pasture and grazing management
* Mechanical aptitude and general farm maintenance skills
* Reliable, self-driven and able to work independently
