Specialist Service Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an individual to lead our Mentoring and Specialist Services team. This role involves managing a dedicated team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to apprenticeship progress, mentoring, and personal support services.
About the Role
* This is a permanent position that will be based in Osborne Park.
* You will play a critical role in driving apprenticeship uptake, while providing valuable support to both employers and apprentices to improve apprenticeship completion rates.
Responsibilities
* You will ensure the delivery of Specialist Services in alignment with contracts, business plans, and KPIs.
* You will foster team development and provide mentoring to enhance skills, performance, and cohesion.
* You will achieve and exceed KPIs and targets.
* You will maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, tracking activities, progress notes, and service plans.
* You will implement and streamline processes to optimise client services and drive increased apprenticeship uptake.
* You will build strong relationships with apprentices and employers, providing regular communication and support regarding services.
* You will represent the organisation at networking events to enhance visibility and promote apprenticeship support services.
* You will ensure outstanding customer service, delivering timely and effective support to all clients and stakeholders.
About You
* You have experience in leading mentoring or specialist services, with a focus on First Nations, Women in Trade, Clean Energy, or other groups.
* You have previous experience in managing and leading a team to achieve goals.
* You have a strong understanding of apprenticeship programs and employer engagement.
* You are proficient in reporting and writing.
* You possess effective customer service skills to interact with various clients and stakeholders.
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* You can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* You are skilled in maintaining and updating databases.
* You have knowledge of State and Federal VET systems.
* You hold a valid driver's license and current Working with Children Clearance.
