About the role
We are seeking an experienced Office/Administrative Manager to join our team at Indoor Eden Garden Centre in Upper Coomera, Queensland. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and office management functions to ensure the smooth running of our busy garden centre.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including overseeing administrative staff and procedures
* Coordinate and prioritise workloads, delegating tasks and providing support to the production team
* Maintain and improve office systems, processes and policies to enhance efficiency
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inventory management and other financial tasks
* Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
* Provide high-level customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
* Assist with HR and compliance-related duties, such as staff onboarding and training
* Research and implement new technologies and software to streamline office and nursery operations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1year experience in an office management or administrative supervisory role
* Proven ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
* Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office,Xero, Square and project management tools
* Knowledge of office management best practices and procedures
