About the role Mater Private Hospital Mackay has a number of positions available for experienced Registered Nurses within a range of wards including Surgical, Medical, Emergency Care, Oncology/Palliative Care, High Dependency Unit and Paediatrics. These positions can be offered as permanent full-time or part-time or casual. Salary range: $36.44 - $49.04 per hour (RN Level 1) plus super (plus casual loading if applicable) plus access to generous salary packaging What you'll be doing The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of care within the scope of practice and professional guidelines that include, but may not be limited to: legislation, regulations, standards, codes, qualifications, registration and clinical competencies. Registered Nurses provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members. Care delivery extends to patient advocacy with particular consideration to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.
