This involves driving high-quality outcomes, highlighting opportunities during approval, and ensuring compliance.You need to be flexible and adaptable to resolve complex issues, leveraging your expertise to oversee processes in line with the Tenancy Design Guide and Fit Out Manual.A key part of the role is ensuring all stakeholders meet their commitments within timeframes and budgets while maintaining safety standards on site.Key responsibilities:Ensure tenant fit-out timelines align with the centre's opening targets and lease start datesMonitor compliance with approved designs and quality standards during constructionConduct final inspections and ensure all certifications, like occupancy certificates, are obtained before tenant opening, and manage defect resolutionsAct as the main liaison between retailers, leasing teams, and centre management to facilitate communication and resolve issuesManage Landlord Works delivery within agreed timeframes and budgetsEnsure all on-site work complies with SWMS, legislation, contractor requirements, and centre guidelinesProvide post-handover support for tenant concerns or operational issuesWho are we looking for?Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large retail or commercial fit-out projectsStrong knowledge of tenancy design, fit-out processes, and sustainability practicesDeep understanding of Australian building codes, accessibility standards, and relevant legislationProficiency in design software and project management tools is preferredExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practicesAbility to manage and coordinate multiple parties effectivelyNot the perfect fit?We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities.
