Own and execute remediation activities for the travel portfolio in alignment with the Travel Line of Business strategy. Collaborate closely with other teams across the Travel Line of Business to enhance process digitization, ensure technical excellence, and maintain compliance with guidelines and functional rules for underwriting.What you will be doing:Oversee Case Underwriting within AU & NZ and for global clients, working closely with Sales teams during offer preparation for both new deals and renewals.Ensure proper deal pricing and support all APAC deals requiring L6 or higher approvals.Lead underwriting for large commercial accounts, such as banking clients in AUS and NZ.Collaborate with business teams and sales to enable growth and profitability for new deals and renewals.Work with the Pricing Team to ensure optimal performance of tariff-based portfolios and initiate changes when performance deviates or market needs change.Ensure compliance with AzP Underwriting guidelines and Allianz standards.Remediate accounts identified by the Portfolio Monitoring team and provide performance data to the central database.Support planning processes, including commercial margin projections for client portfolios.Oversee actions from conditional Product Risk Assessment approvals.Coordinate with the Actuarial function for portfolio changes and reserve evaluations.Collaborate with the product team on the rollout of new products like the Simplicity product.Promote the adoption of digital tools in Underwriting, such as Sales Force and Pricing Tools.Plan capacity and prioritize tasks in line with business strategy.Perform other duties as assigned.What you need for this role:Actuarial or financial background.At least five (5) years of experience in portfolio monitoring, underwriting, or related insurance fields.Experience in the travel insurance industry is a plus.Experience working with banking clients is a plus.Experience managing virtual multinational teams.Fluency in English.Openness to international work across cultures.73540 | Actuarial | Professional | PG12 | Allianz Partners | Full-Time | PermanentAllianz Group is a leading global insurance and asset management company.
