Lendlease have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our friendly team at our Ardency Trebartha in Elizabeth Bay NSW. You will be working on a Part time basis Monday, Tuesday & Wednesdays (8am-4pm), excludes public holiday and weekends.
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings in accordance with the Village Maintenance Plan as well as driving the village bus to various local locations during the week. You will drive a 6X seater village van to drop off and pick up residents from weekly shopping bus events around Double Bay, Edgecliff, Bondi Junction area.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated competence as a tradesperson and experience in a similar role. The Maintenance Officer is responsible for making decisions in relation to the execution of the maintenance activity within the village in accordance with existing frameworks and budget ensuring all work is conducted following the correct procedures. Your role may involve light gardening duties. You will be required to assist with Resident functions e.g. BBQ, morning teas, seminars, set-up and/or pack down as needed.
To be successful you will have the following:
- Organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Take initiative and be pro-active
- Ability to work individually and in a team
- Basic computer skills
- Current Driver's Licence
This role requires a significant amount of physical activity including bending, lifting, walking, sitting, turning, and repetitive motion. The incumbent must have the required level of physical fitness to undertake duties.
Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October as well as provide proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining. For selected roles more physical in nature, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
