We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive and friendly pharmacy team at Epworth Private Hospital in Geelong.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your pharmacy career in a hospital environment or for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to upskill into a Pharmacy Technician role, however you MUST have previous dispensing experience.
You can assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge, dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients, assist customers with general queries, replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital, counsel customers about over-the-counter medicines, process orders, and assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge
* Dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients
* Assist customers with general queries
* Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
