About the Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Kitchen Attendant/Cook to join a large and talented team of chefs in the main production kitchen, who deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

As a Kitchen Attendant/Cook you will be responsible for assisting with chefs with the daily kitchen operation and your key responsibilities for the role include:
* Perform food preparation and maintain equipment, utensils and a clean hygienic kitchen
* Rotate stock and minimise wastage
* Follow directions from senior chefs and work as a team player
* Follow WHS, policies and procedures
What you'll need to be successful
Full availability and flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster including evenings, weekends & public holidays
* Previous kitchen cooking experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar hospitality environment
Knowledge of kitchen operations and cleaning practices
Developing knife skills and a genuine passion for food and cooking, positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
Thrive in a large, busy & fast paced professional kitchen environment, with efficiency, organisation and attention to detail
Clear communication skills, can follow direction and work well in a team environment
Excellent personal presentation
