The Role
We are looking for intermediate, senior and manager level accountants. In these positions you will work on end to end tax compliance work for a range of entity structures which will include individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies. With a diverse client base you will have exposure to working with a variety of different industries.
In this position, you will work closely with the partners, senior staff and mentor junior staff. You will also receive support and guidance from colleagues of all levels.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Work alongside our principals and managers as we provide value to our clients;
* Liaising with and being a point of contact for clients;
* Liaising with the accounting team and ATO to follow up and assist in resolving client queries;
* Prepare financial statements, monitor key performance indicators and assist in creating goal setting strategies for our clients;
* Preparation and review of income tax returns (individuals, companies and trusts)
* Preparation and review of financial statements and BAS
* Providing strategic tax planning and structuring advice
* Acting as a primary point of contact for clients
* Participating in client meetings and advisory discussions
* Exercising professional judgement with minimal supervision
Skills/Experience Required
* At least 3+ years accounting experience gained within public practice
* CA or CPA (or working towards) – we support your professional journey
* Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise your workload
* Knowledge of computer packages including FYI docs, Handisoft, Xero, XPM, Microsoft Office.
* Display initiative and self-confidence;
