Customer Service Officer - Full Time

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a well-established organisation known for safety, innovation, sustainability, and strong community values. You'll be the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers, providing timely, courteous and accurate service across a range of customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for customers via phone, email and face-to-face interactions
- Establish and manage customer accounts (domestic and commercial)
- Process customer enquiries, orders, payments, and invoices
- Provide advice on product usage, delivery, appliance installation and service options
- Handle debtors, price adjustments and banking tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding stock levels and scheduling
- Support other branch functions as required by management
- Adhere to all safety policies and standard operating procedures
- Participate in training and performance management activities
- Assist with administrative duties, including correspondence and filing
- Take overflow calls from other service centres when needed
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service and administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience in resolving customer concerns and managing conflict effectively
- A proactive, motivated and safety-conscious approach to work
- Ability to complete Drug and Alcohol Testing and Functional Assessments
