Senior Mechanical Engineer – KBR Infrastructure Solutions
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will lead a wide variety of challenging projects. This role is focused on Defence, building and infrastructure projects across NSW, VIC, SA and WA. You will work with our buildings and infrastructure teams on a significant number of buildings projects to support Commercial, Defence infrastructure, transport and water in infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead HVAC design and project leading.
* Plan, schedule and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
* Perform work involving conventional engineering practice, including complex features such as conflicting design requirements, non‑conventional HVAC design and complex coordination requirements.
* Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
* Work with OEMs on product selection and installation while having the ability to customise and innovate, delivering unique solutions in challenging environments.
* Deliver cost‑effective, efficient and profitable results for operations.
Required Skills and Experience
* Design experience with knowledge of local industry standards and local codes.
* Proven ability to work in engineering teams and manage projects to scope, budget and program.
* Advanced skills with Revit and CAMEL are preferred.
* Hold an accredited Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline.
* You are a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or have eligibility to apply for this accreditation.
* Australian Citizens will only be considered due to Defence project involvement.
