Our client is an established international digital health organisation with deep market presence in a range of global markets. Their platforms serve hospital, community care and social care settings, with a growing pipeline of major government and health system opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. Their software is used by health departments, hospitals and care organisations to manage clinical workflows, patient records, case management and community services.

With a strong local footprint and an expanding ANZ commercial operation, this is an organisation at an exciting inflection point - transitioning from establishment to scale.

About the Role

This is a full‐time permanent role for an experienced enterprise Business Development Manager to join a growing ANZ commercial function. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing significant opportunities across the healthcare and social care sectors - including state and territory government health departments, hospitals, community care providers and NDIS organisations.

You will operate across long‐cycle, high‐value deals – managing the full sales process from prospect identification through to tender response, executive engagement, negotiation and close. You will report to a Sales Director and draw on global‐based bid, contracts and presales support, as well as a local team with deep product and implementation expertise.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across health departments, hospitals, community care and social care organisations in Australia and New Zealand
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospect identification through to proposal, tender response and contract execution
* Build and maintain executive‐level relationships with key decision makers including CIOs, Chief Digital Officers, clinical leads, procurement teams and government health department executives
* Lead the preparation and coordination of RFI, RFT and EOI responses, working with global bid support, presales and contracts teams
* Develop account plans and maintain an accurate, well‐qualified pipeline using the company CRM
* Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and forums to build brand presence and market intelligence
* Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop go‐to‐market strategies for new product lines and market segments
* Provide regular forecasting, pipeline reporting and market feedback to ANZ and global leadership
* Work closely with the local implementation and delivery team to ensure seamless transition from sale to deployment
* Contribute to the development of ANZ‐specific value propositions, case studies and sales collateral
Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
* Demonstrated success in enterprise B2B software or technology sales, with a track record of closing complex, high‐value digital health deals (Australian experience mandatory)
* Experience selling into Australian healthcare, social care, community care or government health settings (essential)
* Familiarity with Australian government procurement processes including RFI, RFT and EOI frameworks
* Proven ability to build and manage relationships with C‐suite, clinical and procurement stakeholders
* Experience leading or contributing to formal bid and tender processes
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop account plans, manage pipeline and forecast accurately
* Self‐directed and comfortable operating in a growing, entrepreneurial environment with limited local infrastructure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to translate complex product capability into compelling commercial narratives
* CRM proficiency and strong reporting discipline
* Tertiary qualification in business, health, IT or a related field preferred
* Full working rights in Australia required
