Join the heart of our Red Centre touring operation We're looking for a practical, safety-minded and people-oriented team member to support our Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of Adventure Tours Australia in Alice Springs.
This is a hands-on, varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys being part of a small, passionate team delivering unforgettable outback experiences.

What you'll do
* Assist with daily depot operations, including vehicle preparation, logistics and guide support
* Step in to guide when required
* Support operational decision-making and problem-solving in real time
* Share weekend on-call duties on an alternating roster
* Help maintain high standards of safety, vehicle readiness and tour quality
* Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure tours run smoothly across the region
What we're looking for
* Strong practical and mechanical aptitude, able to lend a hand with vehicles and equipment
* Confident decision-making and an eye for detail
* Approachable, calm and professional under pressure
* Safety-conscious and reliable
* Works well as part of a close-knit team, especially alongside our Operations Manager (Hunter)
* Flexibility to share on-call responsibilities and alternate weekends
* Guiding experience, with the following requirements (or have the ability to obtain):
* Northern Territory heavy vehicle manual licence (LR, MR or HR)
* Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for Tour Guides accreditation (we can explain the process to apply)
* Northern Territory H Endorsement to carry passengers. This entails a criminal history check, medical assessment and a written test
* First Aid Certificate - HLTAID003 'Provide first aid'
* Northern Territory Ochre card (Working With Children's check)
