Job Description
The Director of Risk, Capability and Analysis is accountable for leading the strategic direction in the development and evaluation of emergency risk management and capability profiles.
This role will ensure contemporary research, data, and insights are leveraged to shape strategies and effective risk management, preparedness and assurance programs are embedded within the State's emergency management framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and coordination in the development and evaluation of emergency risk management and capability profiles.
* Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and processes to measure and identify capability gaps.
* Understand and evaluate preparedness and apply risk assessments to inform priority planning and investment decisions.
Working in collaboration with stakeholders and supporting other agencies to mitigate the effects of emergencies in the Western Australian community to increase community safety before, during and after emergencies is vital to this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
