**Remote Support Role**

Join a dynamic team making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across Queensland. As a Child and Family Remote Support Worker, you will be part of our FaDS team, working passionately to strengthen family relationships and promote early childhood development.

The role involves servicing remote communities, developing and implementing programs to support vulnerable clients, and enhancing community participation and functioning. You will provide information, advice, and referral pathways, while also promoting awareness of children's wellbeing and supporting early childhood education.

This is a unique opportunity to work in the rural and remote outback of Queensland, visiting children and families on stations, in communities, and learning about rural life. You will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of those you serve and contribute to creating a safer, more supportive environment for all.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and energetic, and have demonstrated experience working with young children and their development, supporting families and communities. A tertiary qualification or higher in Children's services / Counselling/Community Services is desirable, as is a current Queensland driver's license and Blue Card.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Highly motivated and energetic
* Demonstrated experience working with young children and their development, supporting families and communities
* Tertiary qualification or higher in Children's services / Counselling/Community Services (desirable)
* Current Queensland driver's license
* Blue Card

**Working Environment:**
* Maximum Term: 30 June 2026
* Part-time (8 days per fortnight)
* Location: Longreach
* Commute to remote communities required
