Strategic Facility Manager
At Coles, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced Strategic Facility Manager to join our Supply Chain and Online network team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing a major industrial portfolio across Distribution Centres, Customer Fulfilment Centres, Dark Stores, Spokes, and other key sites.
This pivotal role involves driving shareholder value through smart asset management, strategic landlord relationships, and robust lease negotiations. You will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our portfolio with smarter landlord engagement and asset planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimise a major industrial property portfolio.
* Negotiate and manage complex property transactions including renewals, make-good obligations, and site exits.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, supply chain, and legal teams.
* Oversee legal documentation, approvals, and compliance.
* Deliver cost savings and reduce risk through smart leasehold strategies.
* Provide advice on industrial property matters and support business development through due diligence as required.
Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience in property management, ideally gained within industrial or corporate occupier environments.
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* A knack for managing complex property transactions, legal documentation, and compliance.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Degree in Property (or equivalent experience).
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
