Hoile Electrical is growing fast — and we're looking for a strong, organised and technically capable Operations Manager to help us double the business over the next 12 months.
We currently operate with 7 technicians (growing to 10–14) and need an experienced leader who can drive team performance, oversee job workflow, support admin with technical advice, produce accurate quotes, monitor revenue, and lift overall operational efficiency.

Team Leadership & Performance
* Lead, coach and support technicians
* Run toolbox talks, safety discussions and uphold high standards
* Drive productivity and billable hours targets
* Support onboarding, training and professional development
Workflow & Project Oversight
* Oversee all jobs from booking through to completion
* Monitor job progress, profitability, delays and variations
* Resolve issues quickly to keep jobs moving
* Ensure quality control and compliance across all work
Customer Communication
* Act as the primary contact for job updates and variations
* Maintain proactive communication with clients
* Ensure a consistent 5-star customer experience
Technical Support for Admin
* Provide technical advice for admin on job setup and scope
* Assist with material lists, safety requirements and documentation
* Ensure run sheets, job notes and compliance documents are accurate
Quoting & Invoicing
* Prepare accurate quotes for residential and commercial jobs
* Price variations promptly and correctly
* Review invoices for accuracy before sending
* Ensure all documentation is complete prior to invoicing
Revenue & Billable Hours Monitoring
* Track weekly revenue targets
* Monitor billable hours and utilisation for the technician team
* Identify performance gaps and take action to correct them
* Report revenue and utilisation trends to the Director
Admin, Reporting & Compliance
* Oversee job management software (ServiceM8 / Ascora / SimPRO)
* Review timesheets, compliance documents and job notes
* Submit weekly KPI reports to the Director
* Maintain WHS and regulatory compliance standards
Systems & Improvement
* Identify operational bottlenecks and implement better systems
* Improve communication between field and office
* Support business scaling from 7 → 14 technicians
