Salary: $67,193 to $72,126 pro rata, per annum (plus 12% superannuation on top)

Details of appointment: Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary packaging: You'll have access to salary packaging including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment per FBT year, plus other benefits if eligible.
Salary range and benefits are in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Responsibilities
* Provide Medical Orderly services throughout the Launceston General Hospital (LGH), including Radiology.
* Assist medical and nursing staff in lifting, positioning and general care of patients.
* Provide an immediate response to Code Blacks as a member of the Aggression Management Team.
Team and Role
Work in a diverse team required to collaborate with various health professionals within the hospital environment, including patients and visitors from the wider community.
* Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, supported by an inclusive organisational culture.
* Build and uphold strong working relationships within a multidisciplinary team, where every day is different.
* Provide assistance to medical and nursing staff in the lifting, positioning and general care of patients.
