OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to manage all aspects of workforce administration and procurement activities for the team and provide specialist workforce and procurement advice on policy, merit, and best practice guidelines.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishment and administering of labour hire and services contracts.
Onboarding contractors.
Provide assistance for procurement and workforce activities and ensure that these activities are conducted in line with policy, governance, probity and legislated requirements.
Prepare correspondence and corporate documentation, reports, submissions, and briefs.
Complete administrative functions to support the work of the team, whilst ensuring compliance with policy and processes (including arranging meetings, monitoring group mailboxes, records management, and processing of invoices)
Assist in the review and improvement of business processes, contributing to the development of guides and instructions.
Maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels and external stakeholders.

Desirable:
Sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting and/or equivalent experience in a similar role.
