VMI Security is a global leader in X-ray inspection and security solutions. As part of our expansion in
Australia and the Oceania region, we are seeking an experienced Sales Regional to drive business
growth, establish key partnerships, and lead strategic sales initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive
sales leader with technical expertise and a passion for innovative security technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and
strengthen VMI Security's market presence.
• Identify, pursue, and secure high-value business opportunities in government, transportation,
logistics, and critical infrastructure sectors.
• Lead negotiations of complex contracts, including government tenders and corporate
agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and
recommend actionable insights.
• Manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports using advanced CRM systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to
deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Represent VMI Security at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand
visibility and establish thought leadership.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to sales team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in security technology, inspection systems, or
industrial equipment.
• Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar sales pipelines and leading successful
contract negotiations.
• In-depth understanding of the Australian security technology market, with international sales
experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience in government procurement and corporate tendering processes.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and market intelligence platforms.
• Ability to travel frequently within Australia and internationally.
Preferred Skills
• Certification or hands-on experience with VMI Security solutions.
• Successful international sales experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of security inspection technologies.
