About the role
Play a critical role in delivering a welcoming, safe and well-maintained environment at MBS. Working as part of the team who has a high level of contact with students, guests and employees alike, this role will support the delivery of exceptional guest services and provide support with a range facilities and operational responsibilities to all business units to ensure the smooth daily operation of the School.
Key to success in this role will be your ability to operate in a professional manner, with strong organisation and communication skills to build effective and lasting relationships with all stakeholders.
Please note this role will work on a rotating roster across seven days (up to 38 hours per week) based on business requirements.
About you
Due to the nature of this role, a naturally energetic and flexible individual, who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with a proven capacity to work well amongst competing demands, is required. It is also a requirement of the role to be physically fit to support room and event set ups.
You will typically bring:
* Demonstrated experience working in a customer service or concierge role and/or some office administration and professional services experience
* Level 2 first aid certified (desirable)
* Basic understanding of technical and trades (desirable).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to work to a rotating roster with hours typically between 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday
* Intermediate knowledge of computer applications
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to ensure that all documentation, information, and data are managed in systems that are functional, confidential and meet organisational and business requirements
* Physical capability for effective room and event set ups
* Ability to integrate the values and philosophy of MBS into work practices
