The Role
This varied position is highly valued within the business as it is the main point of contact for all inbound queries related to sales and post-sale duties. You will need to respond to customer queries quickly, provide excellent customer service and ensure after sales tasks are executed efficiently for optimal customer service. Additional responsibilities include:
Customer Service
* Assist customers with technical (product) queries
* Provide quotes to customers on various products offered
* Process web orders + attend to customer walks ins
* Handle phone queries, emails and web chats
* Maintain a centralised sales inbox
* Enter data into our admin system + entering PO's
After Sales
· Processing/ printing web order shipping labels
· Follow up supplier purchase orders
· Facilitate calls related to freight / product shipment tracking
· Updating customers with order dispatch dates
· Maintain a good line of communication with customers about their orders
The Ideal Candidate
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent customer service skills, effective in a fast-paced environment, who is well organised and great working within a small team. We are seeking a customer service superstar who is a strong written & verbal communicator.
Furthermore, you must possess:
· Previous experience in retail sales and/or customer service
· A positive attitude that is solutions focused
· Proficiency in working within an office based role
· Excellence at managing customer relationships effectively
· Strong organisational and task management skills
· A passion for helping customers
