About the Role

1. Economies of scale are a key component of our Finance team. We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to lead our general ledger and take ownership of Accounts Payable oversight.

2. As part of our dynamic Finance team, you will be responsible for:
">

* Preparing month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
">
* Delivering timely reporting to internal stakeholders and head office.
">
* Managing treasury operations.
">
* Ongoing accounting support for AP/AR and Payroll; maintaining accurate general ledger transactions.
">
* Supporting business reporting both internally and externally (weekly, monthly and ad hoc).
">
* Audit support including liaising with external auditors and preparing annual financial statements.
">
* Preparation of BAS on a monthly basis and rectification of any issues with support from Finance colleagues.
">
* Providing back-up to the Payroll Officer and bi-monthly payroll processing.
">
* Ad-hoc support to other Finance initiatives and activities.
">

About You
">
">
* You have a degree qualification in Accounting with proven experience in a similar Financial Accounting role.
">
* You possess strong Excel skills to organise and manipulate system-generated data.
">
* You can communicate complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
">
* You hold CA or CPA qualifications or are working towards it.
">
* You have a process improvement mindset and ability to be solution-oriented and agile in processes.
">
* You possess analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
