About the role
Several Manufacturing Operations Assistant roles are available at Hidrive in Goulburn. Join a motivated team and start your career in the metal trades/automotive industry. The following full time, permanent roles are available on our morning shift: Fabricator/Welder, Accessories Installer Pre-Assembly and Skinning.
Responsibilities may include
* Work as part of established fabrication team
* Aluminium and steel MIG welding
* Drilling, folding and guillotine work
* Parts assembly work
* Door hanging
* Panel fixing
* Outer casing and door skin manufacturing
* Maintain our clean and new work environment
* Reading detailed factory drawings
Your skills & experience
* Trade qualification is beneficial but not essential, however experience in \"hands on\" work would be highly regarded
* Forklift license beneficial
* Ability to maintain efficient workflow and high standard of production
* A keen eye for detail and logical approach to problem solving
* Willingness to learn and become multi-skilled
* Strong team player
* Problem solving mindset
* Team focused, wanting to work in a great culture
