Mount Morgan Medical Centre is a well-established, fully accredited rural general practice located in the scenic historic town of Mount Morgan, just 30 minutes' drive from Rockhampton in Central Queensland.
We provide comprehensive, community-focused primary care with a wide scope of practice. Our clinic is supported by an experienced nursing and administrative team in a welcoming, patient-centred environment.
Our services include:
* Skin cancer checks, excisions, and minor procedures
* Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, COPD, hypertension, heart disease)
* Mental health care and care plans
* Preventative health and family medicine
* Women's and men's health
* Immunisations and child health checks

About the Role
We are seeking a caring and motivated General Practitioner to join our team on a contracted full-time basis (40 hrs/week).
You'll enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of rural practice, without hospital or emergency obligations. The role is ideal for GPs who value continuity of care and enjoy variety in their day.
Key details:
* Minimum guaranteed salary: $220,000 AUD per annum (with potential to earn more via billings)
* Monday–Friday (weekends may be required as per demand)
* Full nursing and admin support
* 100% bulk-billing for all consultation services (except for where no medicare benefits area available)
* No after-hours or hospital on-call
* Modern, well-equipped consulting and treatment rooms

Training & Development
Mount Morgan Medical Centre is an approved DPA / MMM5 location, making it suitable for:
* RACGP Fellowship pathway doctors (FSP / PEP)
* Doctors under the 19AB moratorium
* International Medical Graduates (IMGs) seeking rural experience
You'll have access to ongoing mentoring, CPD opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of clinical presentations.
