1. Treatment Support:
2. Assist physiotherapists with treatment procedures, including electrotherapy, therapeutic ultrasound, shockwave therapy, and taping.
3. Prepare equipment and materials for treatments, and assist with removing acupuncture needles, cupping instruments, and other tools.
4. Guide clients through prescribed exercises, ensuring proper form and technique.
5. Client Interaction:
6. Greet and check in clients upon arrival.
7. Handle client inquiries in person and via phone.
8. Provide basic education on home exercises, stretches, and proper equipment use.
9. Conduct follow-up calls to clients post-treatment and send appointment reminders.
10. Administrative Duties:
11. Assist with billing, payment processing, and managing appointment bookings.
12. Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
13. Coordinate with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and insurance companies, and help prepare reports and documents as needed.
14. Clinic Hygiene and Maintenance:
15. Maintain clinic cleanliness, including sanitizing equipment, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting all areas.
16. Reset treatment rooms between clients, including changing linens and preparing necessary equipment.
17. Perform routine checks on therapy equipment and report malfunctions or repairs.
18. Manage laundry duties, such as washing and folding towels and linens.
19. Inventory and Supplies:
20. Monitor and manage clinical supplies, such as therapy equipment and linens.
21. Conduct stock checks as directed and report low inventory to the physiotherapist or clinic manager.
22. Assist with reordering supplies when necessary.
23. Communication and Coordination:
24. Act as a liaison between clients and physiotherapists, relaying messages or updates.
25. Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and client flow.
26. Group Session Support:
27. Assist during group exercise sessions, ensuring participants follow instructions safely.
28. Set up and organize equipment and space for group sessions.
29. Professional Development:
30. Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to stay updated on clinic protocols and treatments.
31. Attend regular staff meetings to discuss clinic operations and client care.
32. Marketing and Client Engagement:
33. Assist with organizing client workshops, community outreach events, or health fairs.
34. Help maintain client engagement through newsletters, social media, or email communications.
