We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our collegial department. This is a permanent full-time position, commencing as soon as possible or at the start of Term 3.
The successful candidate will teach across a range of comprehensive classes, with the ability to engage and support students of varying ability levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across a range of classes
* Differentiate teaching to support diverse learners and maximise student growth
* Contribute to a culture of high expectations and strong academic outcomes
* Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and colleagues
* Support the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College
* Uphold and contribute to the Augustinian Catholic ethos of the College
About You
You will demonstrate:
* Proven experience teaching Mathematics, including Stage 6
* The capacity to teach across a full range of comprehensive classes
* Strong classroom practice and a commitment to student learning outcomes
* The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
* A commitment to ongoing professional growth
* Eligibility to teach in NSW and a current NESA accreditation
* A willingness to support the Catholic identity and mission of the College
* A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing
