GKM BUILDING SERVICES are seeking Qualified Carpenters for immediate start LOCATED EMERALD CENTRAL QLD Applicants must have a good knowledge of all aspects of carpentry, be well presented, punctual, have good communication skills, be able to work in team environments and on their own when required Steady, long term work on local projects on offer for the right applicant.
You must have: White card Own tools Reliable transport Two years post apprenticeship experience Tasks/duties: Construct, install, renovate and repair structures made of wood and other materials Read and interpret working drawings to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
Cut, assemble and install required materials on site.
Erect timber framework, roof framing, install subfloors and verifying trueness of structures Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.
Assembling cut wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
Measuring and installing skirting, architraves and sills.
repair existing fittings Can assist with Accommodation if required.
