An exciting senior role in a new, fully refurbished French restaurant in a busy and vibrant suburb.
- Work with a globally experienced team serving the very best of French food, local produce and the finest imported and local wines.
- One to three years' experience in marketing, branding and hospitality is essential.

This is a new restaurant. Working closely with the owners, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on its growth and development.

As a new restaurant, growing our brand and creating strong market awareness will be a primary KPI for the successful applicant. This will include working with the owners to develop and deliver events, marketing, communications and public relations strategies, stakeholder management, website development and brand strategy.

Your role will be key to training, developing and leading our Marketing and Front-of-House team so that they achieve service excellence and can confidently communicate with our customers.

**Duties**
- Play a key role in building and maintaining the restaurant's brand and reputation including through the development of branding and marketing strategies.
- Lead the marketing and front-of-house team.
- Coordinate daily front-of-house restaurant operations.
- Establish a strong rapport and good working relationship and assist in developing reports and communication to internal stakeholders including with the back-of-house team.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction, building strong relationships and a loyal customer base.
- Organise rosters and supervise shifts.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve performance and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to restaurant and regulatory policies and protocols.

**Requirements and skills**
- 1 to 3 years + experience in marketing, branding and hospitality
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, e.g. marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent
- Proven experience as a manager of people.
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
- A commitment to excellence.
- Strong writing and communication skills and ability to produce marketing and communications for a variety of traditional and emerging communication channels across print and digital media.
- Strong analytical, numerical and organisational skills.
- Excellent administration skills and a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement effective operational processes and systems.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, including Bepoz and Now Book It.
- Extensive knowledge of French food and local and imported wines.
- Ability to work weekdays, nights and week-ends.

**Job Brief**

We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead our Marketing and Front of House team. You will deliver a high-quality dining experience, state of the art marketing strategies and motivate our team to provide excellent service.

Your responsibilities include promoting our brand through tailored marketing and PR campaigns, ensuring efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need the management, marketing and service skills and experience required to oversee our front of house activities, monitor customer satisfaction and requirements and balance bookings and seating capacity
