Our Opportunity
We?re seeking a Finance Manager to lead our Finance team
and play a pivotal role in delivering quality services to our community. Reporting
to the Executive Manager Finance & Resources, you will manage a team of
four direct reports and be responsible for leading the preparation of the
annual financial report, preparing the yearly budget and building strong
relationships with all stakeholders. You will oversee accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll and financial reporting functions, while providing
high quality financial advice across the organisation.
About You
You are an experienced finance leader with a strong
background in corporate finance, including prior experience managing and
leading a finance team. You hold tertiary qualifications in accounting,
commerce or a related discipline and CPA/CA qualifications are mandatory. You
bring a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, a commitment to
compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and the ability to provide
accurate and timely financial advice that supports organisational
decision-making.
Skills & Attributes
* CPA/CA
qualified with tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or a
related discipline.
* Significant
corporate finance experience with team leadership experience.
* Advanced
financial management capabilities including budgeting, forecasting and
financial modelling.
* Ability
to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external
stakeholders.
* Experience
managing external financial audits and year-end financial processes.
