Caloundra City Private School is seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics, Science & Digital Technologies Teacher for a contract position. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of educators and contribute to the academic success of our students. As a contract role for 2026 with an opportunity for ongoing for the right person, this position is located in Pelican Waters, QLD 4551 .
What you'll be doing
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Mathematics, Science and Digital Technologies to students in grades 6-11
Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement
Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to support their academic development
Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall curriculum development and continuous improvement of the school's programs
Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge
Providing a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the wellbeing of all students
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area, with a specialisation in Mathematics, Science and/or Digital Technologies
Proven experience as a Secondary School Teacher, with a strong track record of student engagement and academic achievement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and inspire their learning
A passion for continuous learning and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
