Are you a seasoned ICT professional with expertise in strategy and architecture? We are currently seeking an EL1 ICT Strategy & Architecture Team Lead to join our Technology and Information Management (TAIM) team. As the team lead, you will manage the ICT Strategy & Architecture team and be responsible for implementing and aligning Comcare's ICT Strategy with architectural practices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the ICT Strategy & Architecture team, including setting work area priorities, managing workflows, and evaluating business outcomes.
- Provide overarching solution assurance to technology projects in line with the technology strategy, architectures, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Develop well-defined, well-documented, viable, and cost-effective solution architectures for strategic or critical business initiatives within agreed deliverable timelines.
- Implement Comcare's ICT Strategy, including effective communication to stakeholders.
- Chair the Architecture Review Board (Design Authority) to ensure adherence to ICT strategy, methods, architectural principles, and standards in project delivery and solution development.
- Accountable for accurate and timely completion of work, sharing expertise with others, and guiding and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Develop enterprise-wide architecture to align with strategic direction and business needs.
- Identify and assess the relevance and risk of emerging hardware and software technologies and products that support Comcare's ICT strategies.
- Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration.
- Keep governing documents for architecture up to date, analyze architectural processes and standards, and actively engage in continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and appraise architectures based on evidence and assessments, ensuring compliance with agreed procedures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the development of business strategies and provide technology impacts and supporting technology strategies.
- Lead and manage the ICT Architecture Team, fostering a cohesive and collaborative "one team" culture.
- Stay informed about emerging IT architectures and developments, aligning IT technology trends with the business's strategic requirements.
- Maintain relevant qualifications and certifications in Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology or computer science; or equivalent experience of 5 or more years in Enterprise Architecture domains across multiple layers.
- Desirable: Qualifications in Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, etc.
