Join our supportive leisure team whose job it is to help people live their best lives — whether they're on holiday, visiting an attraction or treating loved ones to a special experience.About the OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Handyperson to join the maintenance team at RACV Royal Pines Resort.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair and preventative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the resort.This could be just the right role for you?As a Handyperson, your key responsibilities include:Carry out general maintenance of resort fittings and fixtures, carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing and cleaning dutiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staffConduct routine inspections of hotel facilities and identifying maintenance needsMaintain the workshop, plant rooms and storerooms in a clean and tidy mannerMaintain tools and equipment in a safe manner and ensure it is in good working conditionMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFull availability and flexibility is required to work shifts on a weekly rotating roster between 7am-10pm, including weekends and public holidays, depending on business needs.What you'll need to be successfulPrevious building maintenance experience as a handyperson within a hotel/resort, or similar environmentGeneral handyperson skills in carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbingKnowledge of facility, building and equipment maintenanceValid driver's licenceCompetent computer skills in BMS and Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well in a team environment, with contractors or independentlyPerform physical and manual handling dutiesExcellent personal presentationWe are OfferingPart-time 3 days/ min 22 hours weekCompetitive salary+ penalties evenings, weekends & public holidaysGenerous employee benefits and discounts on RACV products & 10 resortsEmployee of the month awards & recognitionGreat team cultureUniformParking onsiteThe RACV differenceBe part of a team who cares.
