Our Parent Pathways contract assists parents with young children to identify their goals and facilitate activities that help them achieve success in their personal and professional lives.
These roles provide practical support, problem-solve and guide/coach a caseload to enable participants to achieve their personal and professional goals.
What is the role?
Mentor and support parents in individual sessions, run events locally to attract participants, assess participants needs and identify activities to support goals.
* Lead group sessions in the community
* Connect participants with support / community resources and support networks to overcome challenges
* Maintain accurate case management records
What are we looking for?
* Lived experience (eg as a parent, carer, provider, community work etc)
* Cert III in a relevant field (eg community services, mental health, employment services) or willingness to work towards one. Diploma in relevant field for the senior mentor
* A current driver's licence, required to travel within the Capital region and outlying areas such as Cooma and Young - Work vehicle Supplied
* Ability to problem solve and break larger targets into smaller, achievable steps
