Job Position
The role is aimed at obtaining a communications expert to oversee all marketing and branding endeavors for the national office.
* Developing key messaging, campaigns, member communications, social media content, and press releases;
* Monitoring media and generating positive coverage in line with strategic goals;
* Creating cohesive online and offline marketing strategies to support organisational campaigns and workplace initiatives;
* Overseeing all aspects of social media management, website updates, and digital member communications;
* Producing monthly e-newsletters and yearly print materials;
* Collaborating with external designers and agencies;
Key Requirements
* Qualifications in Media or Communications;
* At least three years' experience in corporate affairs, news production, digital creation, political campaigning, not-for-profit sectors, public relations;
* Understanding of union values and commitment to their objectives;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Experience moderating forums, editing social media, and developing websites;
* Competency in multimedia production and newsletter design;
* Ability to exercise discretion, autonomy, and initiative in a high-profile setting;
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team;
