The Role
We are looking for a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our wonderful team on a casual basis. This position is a casual position, up to 25 hours per week, plus coverage for sick and annual leave as needed.
As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for:
* Warmly greeting and assisting patients
* Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
* Accurate data entry of patient information
* Processing payments
* Managing phone and email queries
* Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
* General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes
* Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
* A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
* Approachable, reliable and dependable
* Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
* Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
* Experience using Best Practice is advantageous
* Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
* Authorised to work in Australia
