* Level D - $167,348 pa to $184,243 (plus allowances and 17% superannuation)

We are seeking an outstanding academic leader to take on a unique combined leadership and professorial role as Dean of Dentistry and Oral Health (Associate Head of School) and Professor/Associate Professor in Dentistry. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of dentistry and oral health education, research, and clinical impact in regional Australia while driving strategic growth, innovation, and excellence.
This leadership position provides both strategic leadership and academic excellence across dentistry and oral health disciplines.
As Associate Head / Dean, you will lead and manage the Centre, drive strategic direction, ensure academic quality and accreditation, and build strong partnerships across industry, government, and communities. While as a professor/associate professor, you will deliver outstanding teaching, lead impactful research, and contribute to curriculum innovation and student success.
About you
* A doctoral qualification in dentistry or a related discipline and/or equivalent academic standing
* Eligibility for registration (or current registration) as a Dentist with Ahpra
* An outstanding research record with international standing and success in research funding
* Significant leadership and management experience in higher education or clinical academic settings
* Deep understanding of dental education, accreditation, and the Australian health system
* Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and managing complex environments
