The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated CSD Technician to join our team on a casual/part time basis. You will play a vital role in ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and prepared to the highest standards, supporting safe and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments.
* Assemble and maintain instrument trays for various procedures.
* Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.
* Operate and maintain sterilization equipment.
* Work collaboratively with theatre and recovery teams.
About You
* Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or relevant qualification.
* Previous experience in a hospital or day surgery CSD environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules.
* Enrolled Nurse endorsement (medication administration) desirable but not essential.
