About the role
As the People & Culture Advisor, you will provide hands-on generalist HR support across the business while partnering with leaders on a wide range of people matters. You'll play a key role in shaping culture, building strong HR foundations, and rolling out people initiatives that support engagement, performance and capability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing practical HR advice to leaders and employees
* Managing employee relations matters including performance, conduct and investigations
* Coaching leaders through performance conversations and development processes
* Supporting the rollout of people programs including performance reviews, engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs
* Preparing contracts, variations and HR documentation
* Overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes
* Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and modern awards
* Supporting payroll with award interpretation and employment conditions
About you
* 3–4 years' experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture Advisor role
* Strong experience handling employee relations matters end-to-end
* Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
* Confident, proactive and able to work independently
* Strong communicator with excellent documentation skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
