Human Resources Specialist Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with expertise in recruitment, employee relations and learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day HR functions, including compliance, workplace safety and training initiatives.
* Support all branches by ensuring effective communication and fostering a positive work environment.
* Develop tailored training programs to enhance skills, compliance and workplace safety.
* Collaborate with the HSE Manager to manage Workers' Compensation claims.
* Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including new starters, staff changes, probationary reviews, exit interviews and terminations.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
* Track record in a generalist position with exposure to recruitment, employee relations.
* Previous track record with L&D initiatives and passion for this space will be highly regarded.
* Knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements and awards applicable to the industry.
* Previous experience in a blue-collar environment is a must, and multi-site experience is advantageous.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Strong attention to detail in coordinating HR processes and ensuring compliance.
* Experience in ELMO or similar HR information systems (HRIS).
