Principal ServiceNow Software Engineer (Developer) (Multiple Roles)
Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
AFP Band 8 Work Level Standards apply.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Custom portal development with UI Builder or React framework ensuring secure integration with ServiceNow APIs and government data models.
* Perform advanced customisations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, and reports.
* Integration and ServiceNow scripting (Glide, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS).
* Advanced workflow development and customisation.
* Advanced Playbook development.
* Advanced CSM development and customisation.
* Escalation of issues and risks within team structure.
* Respond to reported problems, performing fault diagnosis, analysis and rectification tasks.
* Provide or assist in the analysis of enhancements as requested by business areas.
* Support, design, configure, test and implement ServiceNow functions and methods.
* Assist in the development and documentation of technical design standards and work within those standards.
* Develop or assist in the development of test plans and user documentation.
* Record and maintain files/information in accordance with AFP requirements.
* Work in an Agile team environment and with a variety of stakeholders.

Location and Working Arrangements
Location: ACT. Hybrid arrangement with primary office in Canberra; remote work possible subject to approval.
Maximum hours: up to 7.5 hours per day.
Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1.
Experience level: Principal – EL2 equivalent.
