Job Title: Geotechnical Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of the North West Minor Improvements Team, you will play a vital role in the investigation, procurement, construction, and project management of geotechnical related projects.

* You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results within budget and timelines.
* Your expertise in geotechnical engineering and project management will enable you to make informed decisions and drive project success.
Responsibilities:
* Investigate, design, plan, procure, and construct improvement works on the North West trunk road network.
* Work with internal and sub-contractors' resources to achieve project goals.
* Comply with technical standards following the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
* Review reports, investigations, feasibility studies, and options assessments.
* Collaborate with commercial specialists to complete tender evaluations and assist with contract award.
* Procure, supervise, and measure geotechnical related works.
* Work with Environmental specialists to ensure adequate environmental screening and appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
* Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures that form part of the company's Integrated management systems.
* Assist in team compliance with CDM Regulations and ensure robust risk assessments are carried out.
* Use Transport Scotland's asset management systems and geographical inventory system to keep inventory data and as-built records up-to-date.
* Prepare cost estimates and monitor internal financial performance of individual schemes.
* Assist Graduate Engineers and Technicians within the team.
* Deliver projects within an annual programme of work.
Requirements:
* Experience in geotechnical related projects.
* Professional qualification and membership of an appropriate professional body or clear path to membership.
* Fully approved UK driving licence.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of software packages.
* Desirable: use of AutoCAD software.
