We are currently seeking trade-qualified Diesel Motor Mechanics, Fitters, Auto Electricians, Plant Mechanics (Diesel Fitter-Mechanics), Welders, and Boilermakers to join our team on various sites across Perth, Pilbara, Goldfields, QLD, NSW, NT, and SA.
To succeed, applicants should demonstrate:
Relevant trade qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience with a safe and proven performance record
Extensive knowledge of CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, Atlas Copco, Sandvik equipment
Experience with welding wires such as Hobart XLR8, 71-81 dual shield, 232, and 311 inner shield
Current inductions for FMG, Rio Tinto, Roy Hill, BHP (advantageous)
Valid High Risk Work Licences (desirable)
Valid Manual Driver's Licence
Australian Working Rights
Strong safety focus and commitment
Knowledge of workshop and remote site operations
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Job responsibilities include:
Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance of heavy equipment
Prioritizing and completing unplanned maintenance tasks
Reviewing maintenance procedures for safety and correctness
Performing other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in work practices
Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and promoting a safety culture
Remuneration packages range from $90,000 to $150,000 for successful candidates.
We are also seeking experienced Chefs. Applicants must hold relevant trade qualifications and have at least 2 years' experience.
Responsibilities include:
Planning menus, estimating costs, and ordering supplies
Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation
Addressing food preparation issues with management
Applying proper cooking techniques and hygiene procedures
Ensuring proper food storage and preservation
A remuneration package of $76,515 is available for this role.
