About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC – Women's Clinics) to play a key role in the delivery and coordination of specialist women's health services. The CNC will triage and coordinate referrals and appointments across Women's Clinics, ensuring women receive timely, appropriate, and patient‐centred care throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‐quality, evidence‐based patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards, organisational policies, and culturally safe practice principles.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to support coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Promote safety, quality and continuous improvement by maintaining compliance with National Safety and Quality Standards and participating in service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, information security and workplace safety standards, including incident reporting, risk management and adherence to legislative requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 3 years' clinical experience and qualifications in Women's Health (or working towards).
- Demonstrated experience and advanced clinical knowledge in Women's Health, including gynaecology and/or sexual health nursing.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong commitment to patient‐ and family‐centred care.
- Strong organisational, critical thinking and decision‐making abilities, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and patient management systems.
