We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Ballarat. As a not-for-profit healthcare provider, we offer a supportive and passionate workplace where you can make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development, with a focus on implementing the NDIS Early Childhood approach. This will involve providing early intervention supports to young children with developmental delay and/or disability, and their families.
You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals to achieve better long-term outcomes for children and their families. Your clinical and professional skills will be utilised to provide intervention to children and their families, as well as building the skills and capacity of community and mainstream workers, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the NDIS Early Childhood approach to assist young children with developmental delay and/or disability, and their families.
* Provide early intervention supports to children, linking families into services in the community or assisting children to receive NDIS funding.
* Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals to achieve better long-term outcomes for children and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Allied Health such as Occupational therapy, Speech pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social work or Early Childhood Education/teaching.
* A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
