Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Gastroenterology Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical management and intervention for gastroenterology patients, including performing clinical services for inpatients admitted under the Gastroenterology Service and participating in the bed allocation process and management of transfer of care and patient flow according to patient need.
* Offer specialist consultation within your field, including provision of outpatient services.
Requirements
* Hold a primary medical degree registrable with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), with recognised qualifications in Gastroenterology.
* Demonstrate current gastroenterology (including endoscopy) clinical practice of a high standard, with ability to adapt clinical practice in accordance with contemporary evidence based best practice.
* Show capacity for clinical leadership, a commitment to undergraduate and post-graduate teaching in medicine, nursing and allied health and willingness to participate in clinical research.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
